Lee Osborne Sings

About ME

Creating the right atmosphere — and moments people genuinely remember — is what I care about most.

Weddings are at the heart of what I do. There’s nothing quite like being part of such an important day, helping everything feel relaxed, natural, and exactly as it should.

Alongside weddings, I perform across a wide range of events throughout the UK, including private celebrations, corporate functions, and venue entertainment. My background also includes professional cabaret and live music environments, which allows me to adapt confidently to any setting and audience.

I’ve been performing since 2000 and working full-time as a professional entertainer since 2008. Over the years, I’ve refined not just the performance, but the entire experience — from first enquiry through to the final song.

Everything is handled professionally and reliably. I carry full public liability insurance, all equipment is PAT tested annually, and every booking is approached with care, preparation, and attention to detail. All testimonials and reviews are genuine and available on request.

I regularly travel throughout the UK, including London and across the Midlands and surrounding counties. If your venue is further afield, just ask — I’m always happy to help.

I specialise in delivering a full, polished sound as a solo performer using high-quality professional backing tracks. This offers consistency, flexibility, and a reliable standard throughout the day, without the variables that can come with larger line-ups.

Above all, the focus is always the same — creating an atmosphere that feels effortless, enjoyable, and memorable for you and your guests.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS!

What is a "Professional?"

A professional wedding entertainer offers far more than just singing. It means someone who is experienced, fully insured, committed to their craft, and able to give your event the care and attention it deserves. Being full-time is a real bonus, because it means your booking is a priority, communication is quicker, and there is more time for proper preparation and planning. An amateur may only perform occasionally around other commitments, whereas a professional is focused on delivering a reliable, polished service from start to finish. That includes reading the room, adapting to the atmosphere on the day, and making sure everything runs smoothly so you can relax and enjoy it.

My venue has asked if you have a P.A,T certificate

Yes — all of my equipment is PAT tested annually by a qualified company, ensuring it meets current safety standards required by venues. Most venues will ask for valid PAT certification before allowing any performer to set up, so this is something I take care of as standard. I also hold full public liability insurance for additional peace of mind. This means everything is fully compliant, safe, and ready to go on the day without any issues.

ARE YOU INSURED?

Yes — I hold full public liability insurance, with highest level code. This is a standard requirement for most UK wedding venues and ensures everything is fully compliant and protected. It also gives you complete peace of mind, knowing every aspect of the performance is covered professionally.

If your vehicle breaks down will you still get to my venue?

Yes — I travel to weddings across the UK regularly and plan every journey with reliability in mind. In the unlikely event of a vehicle issue, I have full breakdown cover in place to ensure I can still reach your venue. I also allow plenty of travel time, so everything runs smoothly and without stress on the day. Your booking is never left to chance — it’s planned and protected from start to finish.

Do you travel throughout the UK?

Yes — I regularly travel throughout the UK for weddings. Travel is quoted fairly based on distance, and everything is planned in advance to ensure a smooth, reliable arrival on the day. If your venue is a little further afield, just let me know the details and I’ll be happy to advise.

Do You Have Any Awards?

twia wedding awards 2022Yes — I’ve received awards earlier in my career while performing across hotels, cruise ships, and live venues.

That said, what matters far more is the experience I deliver for each couple.

Genuine, up-to-date testimonials and the atmosphere on the day are a far better reflection of what you can expect. Every wedding is different, and my focus is always on making yours feel effortless, personal, and memorable.

Can we choose the songs?

Yes — you’re very welcome to choose the songs. My repertoire spans a wide range of styles, from classic swing through to modern favourites, giving you plenty of choice to shape the feel of your day. If you’re unsure, I’m also happy to guide you and create a set that suits the atmosphere perfectly.

How do we book?

Keeping things simple is important. To secure your date, a booking fee is taken, with the remaining balance due either 28 days before or on the day itself. Everything is handled clearly and professionally, and as I’m registered with HMRC, you’ll receive a full receipt for your records. From first enquiry to the final song, the process is designed to feel straightforward, relaxed, and completely taken care of.

How long have you been singing?

I’ve been performing since 2000, becoming a full-time professional entertainer in 2008. Over the years, I’ve performed at hundreds of weddings and events, continually refining both the performance and the overall experience I provide. It’s not just about singing — it’s about understanding the moment, reading the room, and creating an atmosphere that feels effortless, natural, and memorable.

Can you sing with a live band?

I specialise in performing solo with high-quality professional backing tracks, which are carefully selected to deliver a full, polished sound throughout the day. This approach offers a level of consistency and reliability that’s difficult to match with a live band — no changing line-ups, no last-minute substitutions, and complete control over sound and balance. It also allows for a much more flexible setup, both in terms of space and cost, while still creating the same atmosphere and impact you’d expect from a live performance. For most weddings, it’s the perfect balance of quality, simplicity, and value — without compromising on the experience.

Do you provide sound equipment / PA?

Absolutely — I provide a fully self-contained, professional sound system as part of every booking. The equipment is carefully chosen to deliver clear, balanced sound at the right level for your setting, whether that’s a relaxed drinks reception or a more lively atmosphere later in the day. For added peace of mind, backup equipment is always on hand, so everything runs smoothly without interruption.

Are you just a wedding singer?

Weddings are at the heart of what I do, and where I’m most experienced — but my background goes far beyond that. I’ve performed professionally across a wide range of events including hotel cabaret, black-tie dinners, corporate functions, and private celebrations throughout the UK. My experience includes venues such as The Belfry, Moor Hall Hotel & Spa, Fairlawns Hotel & Spa, The George Hotel Lichfield, Curradine Barns, Hilton Hotels, The Shard, Pinewood Studios, and many more, as well as performances for organisations including Zurich Insurance and national charities. That wider experience brings a level of confidence, professionalism, and adaptability that translates perfectly into weddings — where reading the room and creating the right atmosphere at the right moment matters most.
